PORDASI — Persatuan Olahraga Berkuda Seluruh Indonesia, the All-Indonesia Equestrian Sports Association — has governed horse sport across the archipelago since 6 June 1966. Just months after forming, the organization received formal government recognition through a Decree of the Director General of Sports dated 28 October 1966, naming PORDASI the sole governing body for equestrian sport in Indonesia. Today PORDASI is recognized by the Fédération Équestre Internationale (FEI) as Indonesia’s National Federation, listed in the FEI’s own directory as PP PORDASI — The Indonesian Sporthorse Society.
